Dhavish loves a good roti, for he has been treated with some of the best while growing up in Mauritius. In Mauritius, Rotis are the king of street food, and The Roti Shack delivers heavenly monstrous rotis. His dream is to share Mauritian delicacies to you right here, in Cairns.

Amanda, who grew up in Canada, loves the tropical climate here in Cairns. With over 13 years of experience in Hospitality, she is loving a business of her own. She sees the customers as family, and she is gradually creating a community, The Roti Shack Community.

Christina and David are the founders and previous owners of The Roti Shack. They opened shop in July 2018 with the vision of sharing traditional family recipes to the Cairns Community. Through their hard work and your support, The Roti Shack is one of the most loved, best rated restaurants in Cairns.
